Upendra Takes His Own Time To Enter Politics

Rumours were doing rounds in Gandhinagara and political circle that Superstar Upendra will be contesting in upcoming Lok Sabha Polls from Mandya with BJP ticket. But Upendra has now cleared that he will not be contesting in the upcoming elections as he is not yet prepared.

In his interview to a leading news channel, Upendra has put all the speculations to rest by clearing that he will not be contesting in upcoming polls. On the other hand, Uppi has also expressed his desire to enter politics in later days, and also said that he takes his own time for things to happen.

Upendra said, "I have been approached by a few political parties to contest in the elections, but right now I am not prepared for it. I follow politics and whenever there is something happening, I discuss it with a few people. I just don't want to be an MLA or MP for sake of it. If I do enter politics, I want to bring necessary changes."

Talking about his first step in politics, Upendra said that he is still thinking whether to establish his own party or join the present political parties. "I know politics is a lot more demanding than doing a film. I am taking my own time before entering politics," he added.
