Urvashi Rautela Replaces Erica In Airavatha

Few weeks back, it was reported that Erica Fernandes is out of Darshan starrer Airavatha. The model turned actress was too skinny to be paired against Darshan. Apparently the actress fell sick with chicken pox and lost a lot of weight.

With Erica Fernandes out of the movie, the producers and director were in search of a heroine to be paired with Darshan. There were some rumors that actress Rachita Ram may be paired up with the actor. Darshan and Rachita Ram had previously worked in the super hit movie Bulbul.

However, the director of the movie, A P. Arjun has zeroed in on Uravshi Rautela for the role. Uravshi Rautel was crowned Miss India Universe 2012 by Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. Speaking to a leading daily, Arjun said. "I was in search of a heroine for the film for 15 days, when I came across an advertisement and saw photos of Urvashi. Later, I got to know that she was a beauty queen. During her audition, her height (5'10"), her smiling face and her dance skills pushed me to consider her for Airavata."

Urvashi Rautela has previously worked in Singh Saheb where she was paired opposite to Sunny Deol. This will the first film for Urvashi in the South Indian film industry.
