released
last
week
in
few
parts
of
the
state,
which
also
includes
Triveni
theatre
in
Bangalore.
Though
the
movie
has
been
aired
for
so
many
times
in
entertainment
channels,
re
release
of
the
Sandalwood
classic
has
become
the
biggest
feast
for
Vishnuvardhan's
fans,
which
has
resulted
the
movie
to
roar
at
Box
Office
collection.
After
the
first
week
of
its
successful
theatrical
run
the
movie
is
approximately
grossed
Rs
6
lakhs
in
Triveni
theatre
alone.
It
is
reported
that
the
movie
is
still
running
packed
houses
and
expected
to
do
the
same
in
business
in
upcoming
days.
Satish
and
Govind,
who
are
the
adherent
fans
of
Sandalwood's
angry
young
man
Vishnu
has
converted
the
movie
into
cinemascope
and
re
released
the
movie
with
UFO
technology.
The
duo
are
auto-rickshaw
drivers
by
profession,
who
says
that
making
money
was
not
their
intention.
The
movie
was
the
remake
of
Telugu
hit
Khaidi.
It
had
Chiranjeevi,
Madhavi,
Sumalatha
and
Rao
Gopal
Rao
in
pivotal
roles.
Apart
from
Vishnuvardhan,
Khaidi
also
featured
Madhavi,
Aarathi,
Jayamalini,
Sangeetha,
Nithya,
Anuradha,
Dheerendra
Gopal,
Mukhyamantri
Chandru,
Sudarshan,
BK
Shankar
and
Dingri
Nagaraj
in
the
important
roles.
Later,
it
was
also
remade
in
Hindi
featuring
Jitendra
in
the
lead
role.
Actress
Madhavi
played
the
lead
role
in
all
three
version
of
the
movie.
