The makers, who defends the song's lyrics on the other hand says that those lyrics are necessary in entertainment point of view. They also added that they are not targetting any person individually, but it is mainly for the entertainment purpose.
Chirayu is the directorial venture of actor Orata Prashanth, who is all set to make his comeback on Kannada's screen after two years. Beside directing, Prashanth is also producing and playing the lead role in the film along with Shubha Poonja, Honavalli Krishna, Ravishankar, Ramkrishna, Ashwath Neenasam, Mohan Juneja and others. The film has the music composed by R Shankar and Jayanth Kaikini, K Kalyan has penned the lyrics.
