Wedding Bells For Jaggesh's Son Gururaj

Wedding bells are set to ring in Sandalwood's ace actor-turned politician Jaggesh's family shortly. The actor's elder son Gururaj, who has already made his on-screen appearance with Gilli and Sankrathi will be tying knot with his girlfriend on April 24, 2014.

Gururaj was dating Katie Pyle, a researcher, who is based out of Netherlands. It is reported that the duo met on a holiday tour in Thailand and their friendship blossomed into love from three years now. The wedding function in London will be followed by a small ritual in holy place Mantralaya and a grand reception will be held in Bangalore.

Confirming his marriage news, actor Gururaj said, "My parents are broadminded. I was afraid and was unsure about whether my father would accept my relationship with Katie, but my parents are happy with my choice. I am excited about starting a new phase in my life."

Coincidentally, the wedding date is clashing with the birthday of Kannada's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar. Jaggesh said, "I am a big fan of Rajkumar, so we are organising the wedding on his birthday. It will take place in London as Katie's 94-year-old grandmother cannot travel. But we will have another function in Mantrayala, followed by a huge reception in May. Katie is a researcher in London but she will quit her job to settle in India."
