62nd Britannia Filmfare Awards South: Kannada Winners List

The 62nd Britannia Filmfare Awards South was held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai on yesterday (26th June). The red carpet was a feastful watch, all actors down South were present in the event to get the prestigious trophy, 'the lady black'.

Filmfare is more or less a get together of all the four film industry; Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The actors were decked up to the event wearing their stylish and elegant outfits. The grand event begin arounf 7.30, which was hosted by singer Chinmayi Sripada and actor Rahul Raveendran.

Filmfare Awards 2014 was sponsered by Britannia. South Indian actresses' Parul Yadav, Nikki Galrani, Tamanna Bhatia and others gave an outstanding performances to add more blaze to the event.

The Kannada winners as as follows:

Yash(Best Actor-Mr And Mrs Ramachari) Shwetha Srivastav(Best Actress-Fair And Lovely), Samyuktha Hornad(Best Supporting Actress-Oggarane),Achyuth Kumar(Best Suppoting Actor-Drishya), Rakshit Shetty(Best Director-Ulidavaru Kandante), Vijay Prakash(Best Playback Singer-Ulidavaru Kandanthe), Anuradha Bhat(Best Playback Singer Female-Ugramm), Nagendra Prasad(Best Lyricist-Ambareesha)and Anjaneesh Loknath(Best Music Director-Ulidavaru Kandanthe) have bagged the trophy of black lady for expertise in their feild.
