Challenging Star Darshan celebrates his 38th birthday today. Born as Darshan Thoogudeep to the veteran actor Thogogudeep Srinivas, he made his debut through Majestic(2001), a movie with the theme of rowdyism, which set a new trend in Sandalwood. Later, his Kariya, directed by Jogi Prem gave him huge success and thus, Darshan became popular as Challenging Star Darshan for his challenging roles played in movies.
After making good news through his last release Ambareesha in 2014, Darshan will now come as Airavata in 2015. Also, the actor's yet another movie 'Jaggu Dada' is being launched today, Feb 16 as a memorable birthday gift from the filmmakers.
Yunus Sajawal who wrote scrpit for Shah Rukh's Chennai Express is all set to write scrpit for Darshan's Jaggu Dada. According to the reports, Darshan will be playing a don role in the movie which includes all commercial elements for mass audience.
Darshan is not just apt for a hero, but he has also played a role of negative shades, in Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna for which he has received huge appreciations from his fans across the world. In 2013, Darshan received the Best Actor trophy from Filmfare for his best roles in Bulbul and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, which also happen to be blockbuster movies in his career.
