Civil Court Grants Stay On The Release Of 'Killing Veerappan'

Shivarajkumar and RGV(Ram Gopal Varma) combination Killing Veerappan is again in trouble. On thursday, November 26, Civil Court, Bengaluru has grant stay on the release of the movie, which was slated to hit the theatres on Dec 4, along with Srimurali starrer Rathaavara.

The further reports say that, Veerappan's wife Muttulakshmi has filed the case against the movie. Recently, the same issue was rised by Muttulakshmi who filed the cased against the movie. However, the director Ram Gopal Varma and team members of Killing Veerappan got rid of the judicial case and confirmed it's releasing dates on Dec 4.

Killing Veerappan is the biopic of 'Sandalwood' smuggler Veerappan. For the very first-time RGV, the controversial film-maker who gave Rakta Charitha has said the action-cut to Karunada Chakravarthy aka Shivarajkumar.

Firstly, Shivarajkumar is playing a vigorous cop. Secondly, Ram Gopal Varma has brought a new face Sandeep Bhardwaj, who is a theatre artist, to play Veerappan in the movie.

Killling Veerappan is also slated to release in Tamil and Telugu languages. The action-thriller has raised huge expectations in cinelovers by releasing two official trailers and chartbuster audio songs.

Actresses Yagna Shetty and Parul Yadav has also been roped in to play pivotal roles in Killing Veerappan. Along with lead actors, RGV has chosen National Awardee Sanchari Vijay, Rajesh Nataranga, Gadda Viji and Rockline Venkatesh to play supporting characters who are best in acting.

Interestingly for the first-time in history brothers Shivarajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar have lent their voice to sing chartbuster songs in the movie. Appu aka Puneeth has sung 'Spot Spot' and Shivanna has sung 'Hayya Hayya' respectively.

Since Muttulakshmi has again raised complaint in the Civil Court against the release of the movie, Killing Veerappan might not release for Dec 4, says rumours.

However, Killing Veerappan is the most expected movie of Shivarajkumar for 2015 and thus, let's assume that, his fans will definitely wait in patience for the release.

Muttulakshmi's Demand!

The alleged reports say that, Muttulakshmi has signes a contract with RGV to make a film on her husband Veerappan eight years ago and only it was only for a Hindi language. Now, Killing Veerappan has has been made in Kannada and Telugu and she claims that, RGV has broken the terms of her contract.

Muthulakshmi said that, RGV had promised not to wrongly portray Veerappan. "The film is made in Kannada and Telugu. I want to see all the versions to make sure he has kept the promise. I cannot read English and if the terms of the contract are broken I would not know. That is the reason I approached the court after I came to know the film is made in Kannada."
