Ricky Kej has made the whole nation proud by winning an award for 'Winds Of Samsara' for the best New Age Album at the 57th Grammy Awards. Ricky Kej is a Bangalore based music director, who has earlier worked with Ramesh Arvind for his movie Accident. His songs composed for the movie still fall under the best melody and romantic tracks of Sandalwood.
Now, Ricky Kej has returned to his hometown, Bangalore. Adding more to his celebrations, CM Siddaramaiah has honoured the Grammy Awardee and handed over an amount of Rs 25 Lakhs.
Speaking to the media, honourable CM Siddu said, "I am happy for Ricky Kej's Award, I congratulate him from my bottom of my heart. This award has made whole Indians feels proud, and I am proud of Ricky. All the best to your future project."
Home Minister KJ George and Minister of Women and Child Development Umashree, were also present to honour Mr Ricky.
Ricky teamed up with South African musician Wouter Kellerman for the album, which symbolises peace and harmony.
