CONFIRMED: Salman Khan To Remake Darshan's 'Sangolli Rayanna'

Yet another pride moment for Kannada industry. After Mythri and Mr and Mrs Ramachari is being chosen to be remade in Telugu, now Darshan's Sangolli Rayanna will be remade in Hindi starring Salman Khan in the lead.

Sangolli Rayanna(2012) starred Challenging Star Darshan, Jayapradha, Shashi Kumar and Nikitha Thukral in the lead roles. Now, Sangolli Rayanna will be remade in Hindi by Sallu Bhai and the news has been confirmed yesterday to the media.

Darshan played the role of legendary warrior Sangolli Rayanna who was the army chief for Kingdom of Kittur. Darshan was the mainlight of the movie and the actor has won, Filmfare Best Actor Award and State Award in 2013.

Sangolli Rayanna turned to be a blockbuster hit at the box office and successfully completed 100 days at theatres. Analysing the success of the movie, Salman Khan will now remake the movie in Hindi.

However, the filmmakers are yet to confirmed the casting of the movie. Initially, Salman Khan has given a nod to play Sangolli Rayanna's role.
