NOT TO MISS: Sandalwood At Its Best!
2015 has turned to be the fruitful year ever to Kannada film industry. A lot of things have taken place this year in Sandalwood. It all started from Yash-Radhika Pandit's Mr and Mrs Ramachari, which released in December 2014. Directed by debut director Santhosh Anandram, the film has successfully completed 100 days at theatres and is still continuing its business.
The new year for Kannada audience started with Vinay Rajkumar's debut movie Siddhartha which was released on January 15. The movie received a good opening at theatres. Moving to the next month i.e..February, Puneeth Rajkumar's Mythri was released which later became the talk of the town. The non-commercial film, Mythri depicted the story of juveniles.
In March, two films Raate(Rhaatee) and Krishna Leela was released as a Ugadi treat to all Kannada fans. Both the films received huge appreciations from both critics and audience. Moreover, Krishna Leela's remaking rites has been bought by RS Choudary and the movie is running towards its 50 days run at the theatres and still continuing to do a good business.
After action entertainer, love and bridge movies in Sandalwood, Yogaraj Bhat came with a romantic-comedy film Vaasthu Prakara. Vaasthu Prakara portrayed the story of Feng Shui culture and its traditions practiced by a comman man and its impact of his/her livelihood. The movie has completed successful 25days at theatres on April 27, Sunday.
Puneeth Rajkumar-Pawan Wadeyar's Rana Vikrama has completed its three weeks at the box office and hopefully it will collect well in the overseas too.

Mr and Mrs Ramachari Completes 123 Days So Far
Yash and Radhika Pandit starrer Mr and Mrs Ramachari has successfuly completed its 100 days at theatres and gathered a huge positive repsonse all over Karnataka. If the reports are to be believed, Sai Dharam Tej will soon act in Telugu remake of Mr and Mrs Ramachari.
25 Days For Yogaraj Bhat's Vaasthu Prakara
Vaasthu Prakara, which released on April 2, has completed 25 days at theatres. The movie starred Rakhit Shetty, Aishani Shetty, Parul Yadav and Jaggesh in the lead roles.
Ram Gopal Varma To Direct Shivarajkumar
The controversial director Ram Gopal Verma will now direct Hatrick Hero Shivarajkumar. The movie has been titled Killing Veerapan. According to the reports, the film will go on floors after Shiavanna completes Shivalinga and Santheyalli Nintha Kabeera.
Puneeth Rajkumar's 'Rajakumara'
After the success of Mr and Mrs Ramachari, director Santhosh Anandram is all set to say action-cut to Puneeth Rajkumar. The movie has went on floors on Dr Rajkumar's 87th birthday, April 27 and titled Rajakumara.
Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole
Kannada script writer Kaviraj is a budding director in Sandalwood. He is all set to direct a story based on a real life incident. The aspiring director has chosen debutant Suraj Gowda and Amoolya to play the lead roles in the movie, Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole.
Rana Vikrama In Overseas
Puneeth Rajkumar's last release Rana Vikrama is the most sensational hits of 2015. Director by Pawan Wadeyar and produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra, the movie is expected to collect well in the overseas.
