Kannada Film Industry's most prestigious actor is 'Kannadada Kannmani' Dr. Rajkumar. In remembrance of his 9th death annivesary, the family members of Dr Rajkumar's family were present at Kanteerava Studio on April 10.

There was held an auspicious pooja and many co-curricular activites like singing and dancing for Dr Raj's songs on April 10, at Kanteevara Studio. Many, Dr Rajkumar fans from various places came down to offer their respect to the most precious diamond of Sandalwood.

None till date, has broken the records of Dr Rajkumar in the industry. He is remains as the Natasarvabhouma(emperor of acting) of KFI. He is well known for his simplicity in real life. Predominantly called as 'Rajanna' by his fans, the actor has always treated his fans as his family members.

The auspicious function was attended by all the three son, daughters and their family members. Speaking to media Puneeth Rajkumar said that, "I always tell my thanks to Appaji, He remains in the very heart of Kannada people."

Well, these heartrending words by Puneeth reflects that, Dr Rajkumar is still alive and we will be alive forever in the hearts of people of Karnataka.

On the occasion of Dr Rajkumar's 9th year death anniversary, 11.5km stretch of the Outer Ring Road(ORR) from Nayandahalli Circle to Tumakuru Road junction has been named Dr Rajkumar Punya Bhoomi Road by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
