Sarathkumar To Play Puneeth Rajkumar's Father In 'Rajakumara'

This is indeed a very happy news to all the fans of Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar. Sarathkumar, the veteran Tamil actor will act in the Kannada movie, Rajakumara.

Puneeth Rajkumar, the busiest actor is all set to kick-start the shooting, for his upcoming movie 'Rajakumara' from January, 2016.

After the success of Yash and Radhika Pandit starrer Mr And Mrs Ramachari, director Santhosh Anandram is helming the project and he is very happy to direct Appu in his second venture.

The latest update about the movie is that, Tamil actor Sarathkumar will play father of Puneeth in the movie. It is for the first time Sarathkumar and Puneeth are sharing on-screen space for a movie and this has raised huge anticipation in cinelovers, even before the movie shooting has started.

Speaking to an interview with a leading daily, director Santhosh Anandram said, "We will be shooting a few scenes, action sequences and a couple of songs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. I will be off to a recce in Australia from December 7, to finalize the locations,".

The confident film-makers have already set the release date of Rajakumara for Diwali (2016). He continued to say that, the first look and teaser will be released along with Puneeth Rajkumar's 25th movie Dodmane Huduga.

On the career front Powerstar is presently busy shooting for two big budget movies 'Chakravyuha' and 'Dodmane Huduga'.
