It's Roaring Star Sri Murali's 34th birthday today (Dec 17). At present, the actor and father of two, is celebrating the success of his recently released movie Rathaavara.

Sri Murali is the younger son of producer S. A. Chinne Gowda and brother of actor Vijay Raghavendra. 'Varanata' Dr Rajkumar is Sri Murali's uncle and Rajkumar brothers are his cousins.

The good-looking actor, Sri Murali made his debut with Chandra Chakori directed by S Narayan in 2003, which received huge praises from the audiences. After the success from romantic entertainer, the actor played a vigorous action hero in Kanti, 2004.

Kanti, focused on land dispute between Karnataka and Maharashtra, wherein one state claimed the other based on linguistic grounds. His best performance in the movie brought him Karnataka State Film Award (Best Actor).

Success After 14 Flops!

After Kanti, Sri Murali played the lead role in 14 movies and all were moderate hits and turned out to be flops at the box office. Sri Murali signed Ugramm in 2014 with newbie Prashanth Neel who changed his present value in Kannada film industry.

Stardom From Ugramm

Ugramm is an action thriller which portrayed a never before seen Sri Murali on the big screens. Kannada audiences were surprised to see the huge makeover of the actor and the movie become a milestone in his acting career.

The movie starred Sri Murali and Haripriya in lead roles. Actors Thilak Shekar, Atul Kulkarni, Avinash, Jai Jagadish, Padmaja Rao, Girish, Mithra and others played supporting roles in the movie.

Success Repeats With Rathaavara

For 2015, Sri Murali is back with a bang with Rathaavara. to all his fans. The positive effect of Ugramm was carried over to Rathaavara, as well. The actor plays the role of 'Rathaavara' which means a king's warrior or his chief.

The movie starred Rachita Ram opposite Sri Murali and it is a box office success, and still continues its run at theatres.
