Kannada film industry's veteran director, producer, actor and playback singer KSL Swamy(77) passes away. Born as Kikkeri Shamanna Lakshminarasimha Swamy in 1938, the actor took his last breath yesterday, October 19th.
KSL Swamy was hospitalized from the past few days, as he was suffering from breathing difficulties. The further reports say that KSL passed away, after returning back home from hospital to his house which is located at Horamavu, Bengaluru.
KSL Swamy was hospitalized from past 42 days. The legendary actor-director made his debut as an independent director in 1966 through Thoogudeepa.
Mr. Swamy has worked with famous directors Puttanna Kanagal, GV Iyer, and M. R. Vittal. As decided earlier, KSL Swamy's eye and body shall be donated to MS Ramaiah Hospital, Bengaluru.
Fans, actors, and masses can take a last glimpse of KSL Swamy at Samsa Bayalu Rangamandira, behind Ravindra Kalakshetra between 12 am - 6pm today.
