Abhimanyu
Singh,
who
is
making
his
Kannada
debut,
will
take
on
Puneeth
Rajkumar
first
up
as
he
is
playing
a
negative
role
in
the
upcoming
flick,
Chakravyuha.
"My
character
is
a
man
who
comes
up
in
the
system
through
a
lot
of
hard
work,
but
eventually
became
a
manipulative
person
due
to
circumstances.
He
gives
the
hero
a
hard
time,
and
affects
his
life
in
many
ways.
There's
more
than
meets
the
eye
with
regards
to
his
personality,
which
has
shades
of
grey," he
has
said
speaking
to
Times
of
India.
Speaking
about
Sandalwood,
the
Hindi
actor
has
said,
"Sandalwood
is
a
force
to
reckon
with.
People
from
all
over
are
investing
time
and
money
here
because
the
films
have
good
reach
and
reap
good
rewards
as
well.
This
is
a
positive
trend
that
reflects
the
consistent
quality
of
films
being
made
here,
so
it
really
is
a
great
time
that
I've
chosen
to
debut
here."
He
has
also
said
that
his
role
in
Chakravyuha
is
not
as
intense
as
some
of
his
previous
roles.
"This
is
sort
of
a
calm
and
composed
entry
into
Sandalwood,
since
the
role
is
not
as
intense
as
the
ones
that
I'm
known
for.
So
I'm
curious
to
see
how
the
audience
will
respond
to
my
performance.
Acting
in
different
languages
doesn't
stop
you
from
growing;
on
the
contrary,
for
an
artiste,
it
helps
a
lot.
So
if
everything
goes
well,
there's
a
good
chance
you
might
see
me
more
often
in
Kannada
films."
He
has
said.
