Chowka Cast Gets Bigger And Better

Chowka, which has already been termed as the biggest multi-starrer of Kannada Film Industry with a couple of young heroes, heroines and Darshan, has turned bigger and better with two more inclusions in the star cast.

The latest additions to the cast are yesteryear star Kashinath and Manvitha Harish of Kendasampige fame. This duo will be playing the roles of father and daughter.

Kashinath and Manvitha are playing extended cameos; they are part of a song and a few scenes. A song featuring both, speaks about the relationship of a father and daughter.

This song penned by V. Nagendra Prasad, is said to be the one of the highlights of the music album. The song and scenes featuring the two, will appear in the climax portion of the film.

Challenging Star Darshan completed his shoot for the movie recently. Tharun Sudhir supervised the spine-chilling action sequences, which was shot by one of the five cinematographers of the film, Sudhakar S Raj.

The renowned action director Vijay, who has worked for big budget films in Telugu and Tamil choreographed this action sequence for which producers have spent a bomb. Tharun has used Time Slice Shot technology for this sequence.

The music which has been composed by five music directors Guru Kiran, V Hari Krishna, Arjun Janya, Sridhar V Sambhram and Anoop Seelin, will be released in December. Music label and audio release date are yet to be revealed.

As per the latest reports, Dwarakish Chitra and distributors Mysore Talkies are aiming for the December 23 release (Christmas weekend). The makers are also planning for a simultaneous release worldwide.
