GOOD NEWS! Dr Rajkumar Starring 'Babruvahana' Re-releasing On April 22!

Babruvahana, the big blockbuster of the 80's starring 'Varanata' Dr Rajkumar will re-release on April 22, confirm sources from Gandhinagara. The mythological movie of 80's is gearing up for its re-release on the 87th birth anniversary of Dr Rajkumar.

The movie was directed by Hunsur Krishnamurthy in 1977. Babruvahana portrayed Rajkumar in dual roles as Arjuna and Babruvahana.

KCN Gowda's son KCN Mohan has taken the initiative of re-releasing the movie and he has given a facelift to the film with the DTS Technology and DI work.

Apart from Rajkumar, Babruvahana featured B Saroja Devi, Kanchana, Jayamala, Vajramuni, Thoogudeepa Srinivas, Shakti Prasad and Ramakrishna.

Till date, the movie is remembered by the audiences from its famous track 'Yaaru Thiliyaru Ninna Bhujabalada Parakrama'. Dr Rajkumar who is a perfectionist has given an tremendous performance in the mythological movie.

The costumes and properties used in the movie are the best commercial elements of Babruvahana. Actresses Kanchana, B Saroja Devi and Jayamala played female leads alongside Dr Rajkumar in the movie.
