Good Times For Kannada Film Industry From April; Chakravyuha Releasing First!

The good times are coming for Kannada film industry. The film-makers gear up for the release of big budgeted movies this month, April. Big Star movies Chakravyuha, Mudinja Ivana Pudi, Jaggu Dada, Zoom, Style King, U Turn and others are lined up for grand releases.

Since March-April is the month of Cricket, the film-makers had to put the movie releases on hold. After three back-to-back postponements, Puneeth Rajkumar's Chakravyuha has been finally slated to release in April for Ugadi or post Ugadi.

After the feast of Puneeth Rajkumar starrer, audiences will be pleased to watch Mudinja Ivana Pudi, the most expected bilingual film of Abhinaya Chakravarthy Sudeep. Directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Soorappa Babu, the film is expected to release in the last week of April.

Looks like Kannada producers have planned it well. After the release of Chakravyuha and Mudinja Ivana Pudi, Darshan and Deeksha Seth starring Jaggu Dada will hit the silver screen in May.

However, apart from the big budget movies, there are more average budget movies Style King, Zoom, U Turn, Jai Maurthi 800, Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu, Danakayonu, Akira and others awaiting release.

So, April will change the present scenario of the Kannada film industry. Firstly the fever is all set to begin from Chakravyuha, the 24th film of Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar. It stars Rachita Ram as the female lead and Yennai Arindhaal fame Arun Vijay as the antagonist.

According to the talks and hype heard in Gandhinagara, Chakravyuha will break all the earlier records of Puneeth's last blockbuster Power!
