Happy New Year Cast Gets Bigger And Better

After Dhananjaya and Sruthi Hariharan, debut director Pannaga Bharana has managed to sign a few more big names of Kannada industry to play the lead roles in his debut movie Happy New Year, which will feature five heroes and heroines.

The latest to be signed on the project is Vijay Raghavendra, Diganth and Sonu Gowda. Vijay Raghavendra and Sonu Gowda will be paired together. This is the first time, both are acting together.

Confirming the news, Sonu Gowda tweeted "Ahh my next Kannada movie excited to work wit my childhood friend #Pannaga humblest actor/friend #vijayraghvendra". Vijay will play the role a cop and Sonu will play his wife.

Producer BC Patil's daughter Srusthi Patil will make her debut through this project and she is paired opposite Diganth in this multi-starrer. Diganth will play the role of a software engineer and Srusthi is essaying a role of traveler. This part of story will be completely shot abroad.

Pannaga is busy with finalizing the other two lead pairs. Simultaneously, the pre-production work has started. The team will start shooting by the end of September. He is planning to shoot the five stories in different locations of India and abroad.

Apart from the three pairs, rest of the star cast and crew is yet to be announced. BC Patil is producing the movie and there is no official word, as to whether he will be a part of the movie, as an actor.

Meanwhile, Pannaga Bharana is looking forward for the release of Allama for which he worked as an associate. Currently, he is shooting for Seizer starring Ravichandran and Chiru Sarja.
