Chikkanna is now Bill Gates. Yes you read it right! He is playing Bill Gates in his next film. Just to clarify, this is not based on software legend Bill Gates but the movie and Chikkanna's character are titled as Bill Gates.

Like his seniors Komal and Sharan, Chikkanna is also trying his luck at lead roles. He is playing a lead role in the movie along with Shishir who has been known for his roles in small screen.

Chikkanna's last movie in the lead role - Thale Bachkollo Powder Hakollo, did decent business at box-office. This success has inspired other producers to consider him for lead roles, even though he is not much interested in playing the lead.

Srinivas, who has worked as an associate with directors like Nanda Kishore and Mahesh Rao in movies like Victory and Kwatle Sathisha, is making his directional debut with this comedy entertainer.

The director Srinivas, apart from taking care of the story and screenplay, is also producing the movie along with his friends under their banner Panchajanya Creations. He assures that this will be a full length comedy entertainer.

The script demands two heroines and newcomer Pooja has been selected as first heroine. The team is looking out for the second heroine now and are sure of finalizing the heroine in a day or two. Kuri Prathap and Giri are playing other important roles.

Like the director, even the technical crew is relatively new. Nobin Paul will be composing the music. Rakesh P Tilak is the director of cinematography and Daya Mallikarjuna is writing the dialogues.
