'I Play The Hero In Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu': Shwetha Srivastav

Here is an exclusive story to our readers about Simple Hudugi aka Shwetha Srivastav, who earlier played the lead role in Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. The actress is eyeing on a huge break with her next movie 'Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu directed by Sumana Kittur.

Kiragoonia Gayyaligalu is a film based on a popular novel of the same name penned down by renowned novelist Poornachandra Tejaswi, son of Rashtrakavi and Gyanpeeth Awardee, Kuvempu.

The official rights of the novel has been bought by Sumana Kittur, who previously gave hit movies likes 'Edegarike', 'Slum Bala', & 'Kallara Santhe'. After the huge success from crime dramas, the director has moved on to direct a women-centric movie and i. e., Kiragoorina Gayyaligau'.

The movie stars Shwetha Srivastav, Sukrutha Wagle, Sonu Gowda, Manasha Joshi & Karunya Ram in the lead roles. Interestingly, the film-maker has also roped in male actors Kishore, Loose Mada Yogi aka Yogesh, Achyuth Kumar, who are well-known for their performances.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with FilmiBeat, Shwetha Srivastav said, "I play a character called Dhanamma in the movie and she is the hero of entire film".

After the moderate success from Lovely Star Prem starrer 'Fair & Lovely', Shwetha Srivastav is really excited to make a comeback through Sumana Kittur's 'Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu'.

The film has completely been shot in a village which suits the nativity of the novel. Will the novel based movie Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu to be a blockbuster? Will Shwetha Srivastav meet the expectations of her fans?
