Kotigobba 2 BO Collections Revealed At The Distributors Press Meet

As reported by us yesterday, distributors of Kotigobba 2 met the media personnel yesterday to reveal the official figures, the film collected over the weekend. Kichcha Sudeep, Ravishankar and producer MB Babu were present at the press meet.

Producer MB Babu in his speech revealed that the distribution rights of the movie was sold for 16 Crores and this was the highest for any Kannada movie. He also stated that this is only for the Karnataka distribution rights and satellite rights was not included.

Jack Manjunath of Mysore Talkies (BKT Region), Mandya Mahesh (MMCH Region), Patil (Bombay Karnataka) were the prominent distributors present at the meet. All the distributors were quite ecstatic with the response movie had garnered so far.

Distributors revealed that movie has managed to collect 18 Crores in the first 4 days and they also stated that response was much better than what they had expected. They expect the movie to continue its fantastic run as the word of mouth is good and there are no big releases in Kannada for the next few weeks.

Kichcha Sudeep in his speech said that he is not interested in the numbers, he will be happy if audience appreciates his work. Also, he clearly stated that he never wishes to be known for the collections of his films.

Also, the film has created quite a few records in the opening weekend, which includes the fantastic run of the film in Mysore. Distributor Mahesh indicated that all shows in both single screens and multiplexes in Mysore and Mandya were full in the weekend.
