Kotigobba 2 Release Date Confirmed

The most awaited news for Kiccha Sudeep fans is finally out. Kiccha Sudeep's next Kotigobba 2, is releasing in August 2nd week i.e., Varamahalakshmi festival weekend.

As announced earlier, there was no formal event for the Kannada audio release. However, a grand event is planned for the launch of Tamil audio tomorrow(July 19) in Chennai. Tamil Superstars Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi and Siva Karthikeyan are expected to grace the event which will give the Tamil version, a good mileage amongst audiences and media.

The makers were planning simultaneous release of Kannada and Tamil versions in the month of July, but Kabali's delayed release made producers postpone the release to the month of August. This means movie will release after three weeks of Kabali release, which will give them access to a good number of screens in Tamil Nadu.

Apparently, the distribution rights of Tamil version is picked by Ashok Samraj and he is planning to release the movie in the highest number of screens. As per the sources, Kannada version will be released by Jack Manju and Yogi Dwarkish of Mysore Talkies, who will surely release the movie in 300 odd theaters.

Apart from Sudeep and Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Nasser, Sharath Lohithashwa, Ravishankar, Sadhu Kokila and Chikkanna are playing important roles in the movie. D Imman has composed the music for the movie and this is his first outing with Sudeep.

Surappa Babu has produced the movie under Rambabu productions and Rockline Venkatesh is the presenter of this prestigious movie. KS Ravikumar has directed the movie. The official ad with the release date is expected by this weekend.
