Mukunda Murari Or Santhu Straight Forward: Who Will Emerge As The Winner?
Upendra-Sudeep’s Mukunda Murari and Yash-Radhika Pandit’s Santhu Straight Forward are hitting the theatres today amidst huge expectations. But, who will win?
Deepavali is one such festival which is celebrated by all age groups with fervor. Apart from the special food and crackers, films are something that audiences look forward to.
Based on the same logic, this season is considered to be a superb time to release a movie, be it in any film industry of India. For the same reason, a number of big films are hitting screens on the same day.
As you all know, even we have films of three biggest stars locking horns this week - Mukunda Murari and Santhu Straight Forward. There was a slight chance of Santhu being postponed, but that just ended up as a speculation.
Mukunda Murari, which brings two superstars together, is the remake of Hindi film Oh My God, but fans are least bothered about this fact. Fans just want to see two superstars together on screen.
Nandakishore, who has proven his capability of directing remakes is wielding the megaphone for this flick. He has made necessary changes to suit the nativity, and he has also increased the screen time for Sudeep, and added a special song with Bhavana and Rachita.
Top distributor MN Kumar has produced the flick in association with Jayashri Devi. MN Kumar has ensured that the film is released in over 260 theaters throughout the state. The film has got excellent theaters in Hubli region and average set-up in Bangalore region.
Santhu Straight Forward also brings together two superstars Yash and Radhika Pandit for fourth time. Mahesh Rao has directed the flick, he has also confirmed that it is an original script and not a remake.
Yash's last release was Masterpiece, which got gigantic openings in the Christmas weekend last year, could not sustain the collections over the next few weeks. The film ended up as a break even venture.
If Yash succeeds with this film, his position in top league will be reiterated. And this success will be even more powerful because this comes after competing with a biggie.
Jayanna Films is releasing the film throughout the state in over 260 theaters. They have got good theater set-up in Bangalore and average in other parts of Karnataka.
We have to wait and see whether Mukunda Murari or Santhu Straight Forward will triumph, but we hope both the films achieve the success at the box office.
