a
few
weeks
ago
that
a
team
led
by
actor/director
Rajendra
Karanth
is
working
on
a
film
titled
Nanjundi
Kalyana.
Now
the
team
has
started
shooting
for
the
film.
Tanush
Shivanna
of
Madamakki
fame
is
playing
the
lead
role
of
Nanjunda.
Shravya,
who
made
an
impressive
debut
with
Ajai
Rao's
Rose,
will
play
the
female
lead
role.
A
source
from
the
team
confirms
that
this
film
has
nothing
to
do
with
yesteryear's
blockbuster
Nanjundi
Kalyana.
The
makers
have
just
taken
the
title
and
weaved
a
fresh
story
based
on
the
concept
of
marriage.
The
team
has
commenced
the
shooting
in
a
house
in
Rajarajeshwari
Nagar,
Bangalore,
and
will
continue
shooting
for
a
few
more
weeks.
Also,
a
few
important
scenes
and
a
couple
of
songs
will
be
shot
abroad.
Apart
from
directing
the
film,
Rajendra
Karanth,
who
is
known
for
his
acting
capabilities
will
be
playing
an
important
role
in
the
film,
along
with
Seetha
Kote.
Rajendra
Karanth
made
his
directorial
debut
with
Ramesh
Aravind
and
Harshika
Poonacha
starrer
Mangana
Kaiyalli
Manikya,
which
did
not
do
well
at
the
box-office.
This
time
director
is
leaving
no
stone
unturned
to
make
sure
he
succeeds
commercially.
The
film
is
said
to
be
a
story
based
on
a
mother's
scout
for
the
perfect
bride
for
her
son.
Rajendra
Karanth
has
penned
this
laugh
riot
and
also
written
the
dialogues
for
the
film.
Sriram
Talkies
is
bankrolling
the
film.
Jagadish
Wali
has
been
roped
in
as
the
Director
of
Photography.
Sathish
Aryan
will
compose
four
songs
for
the
film.
KM
Prakash
will
edit
the
film.
