Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, who is busy with the final schedule of Raajkumara, has apparently signed his next project in the direction of Pavan Wadeyar, who directed him in Ranavikrama.
We hear that film has been titled as Veera Anjaneya Prasad (VAP) and film will be an out-and-out entertainer in Pavan Wadeyar's style with equal preference given to comedy and action.
The film will be bankrolled by Lagadapati Sridhar and Lagadapati Sirisha under their banner Sri Ramalakshmi Cine Creations. They have produced a couple of Telugu films and also produced Pavan's debut Telugu film Potugadu, which was the remake of his Kannada debut, Govindaya Namaha.
Since the last year, there were news that Appu and Pavan are coming together but the news remained as news and there was no development regarding this. As per the latest reports, this has been confirmed as the date of launch is announced.
The film will be launched on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami (October 11). A formal announcement is expected to be out in a day or two. However, the principal shoot will start early next year.
Meanwhile, Appu will finish his commitment for Raajkumara, for which he has a few days of talkie portion and a couple of songs to shoot. This will get over by November as per the makers of Raajkumara.
Pavan will start pre-production work for this film only once his next Nataraja Service is released on October 20. Nataraja Service is produced by Appu's friend NS Rajkumar and stars Sharan and Mayuri.
