BIG CLASH! Cricket vs Sandalwood Movies
It's cricket fever everywhere. Cricket and cinema are two crazy fantasy to audiences. Now, like every year, IPL is kick-starting on April 8 and simultaneously Sandalwood film-makers gear up for their respective movie releases.
Firstly, Puneeth Rajkumar starring Chakravyuha is slated to hit the theatres on April 8. And, and on the same day their's held the 9th inaugural function of IPL, say sources.

Chakravyuha
Puneeth Rajkumar and Rachita Ram starring Chakravyuha is the most expected movie of 2016. The film is slated to release in the first week of April.
Mudinja Ivana Pudi
Mudinja Ivana Pudi is the upcoming movie of Kichcha Sudeep. The bilingual is also slated to release in April. The film is helmed by KS Ravikumar and stars Sudeep and Nithya Menon in the lead roles.
Jaggu Dada
If the reports are to be believed, even Darshan's next Jaggu Dada is gearing up the release soon. The action drama stars Telugu actress Deeksha Seth alongside Darshan.
Jai Maruthi 800
After the success of Vajrakaya, A Harsha has directed a comedy entertainer titled as 'Jai Maruthi 800' starring Sharan, Sruthi Hariharan and Shubha Poonja in the lead roles. The movie will soon hit the big screens.
Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu
Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu is the directorial debut of Hemanth Kumar. The movie is awaited for a grand release. For the first time actors Ananth Nag and Rakshit Shetty have shared screen space as father and son in the movie.
Style King
Last but not the least, Ganesh's awaited movie Style King has confirmed its releasing in April or in the month of May. It is directed by PC Shekar and stars Tamil actress Remya Nambeesan as female lead.
Secondly, the bilingual flick Mudinja Ivan Pudi starring Sudeep and Nithya Menon is slated to release in the last week of April. The movie is directed by KS Ravikumar and it is simultaneously release in Kannada and Tamil languages.
Not just Chakravyuha & Mudinja Ivan Pudi, even the upcoming movie Jaggu Dada starring Darshan is also gearing up for its release soon. Apart from these big star movies, there are 3-5 movies which are ready to hit the big screens.
Sharan, Sruthi Hariharan and Shuba Pooja's next 'Jai Maruthi 800, Ganesh's 'Style King' and Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu starring Rakshit Shetty are awaited for the releases.
Earlier, the film-makers would postpone the release of their movies during IPL. But, this time, it seems like Kannada film-makers are pretty confident about their success and thus they have made up their minds to release movies in April.
Initially, everything will start after the release of Chakravyuha. The 24th and most expected movie of Puneeth Rajkumar will definitely beat IPL, opines the die-hard fans of the Powerstar.
Chakravyuha, the romantic action film is directed by M Saravanan and produced by NK Lohith. The movie stars Puneeth, Rachita Ram, Arun Vijay and Sadhu Kokila in the prominent roles.
