Sharan All Set To Become Sathya Harishchandra

Comedian Sharan, who has had a decent success as a lead actor, has signed a new project which is titled as Sathya Harishchandra. The film will be directed by Dayal Padmanabhan.

As per the team, this is going to be an out and out comedy entertainer unlike Dayal's recent flicks. Dayal, who was known for light-hearted entertainers at the start of his career has been behind experimental flicks like Haggada Kone and Actor, which brought him critical acclaim and awards.

After meddling with different genres for some time now, looks like Dayal is back to what he is best known for, entertainers. With Sharan joining hands with Dayal, nothing short of an entertainer is expected.

K Manju, who has slowed down a bit in the recent months, will be bankrolling the project under his banner K Manju Cinemas. We hear that he has handed over the complete responsibility of this movie to Dayal and Dayal himself will be executing the project.

Sharan, who has finished his work for Pavan Wadeyar's Nataraja Service, is looking forward for the release of the film. The film is scheduled to release by the end of September. His last release Jai Maruthi 800, was an average grosser at box office.

Dayal has already started the pre-production work for the film. He is currently scouting the locations for the film with his cinematographer Faisal Ali, who is making debut into Kannada Film Industry.

K Manju is planning to launch the movie on September 18. Team will commence the shooting by end of the September. Other details of cast and crew are yet to be announced.
