launched
amidst
much
fanfare
yesterday(Aug
21)
at
Bandi
Makalamma
Temple,
Bangalore.
Several
bigwigs
from
film
industry
graced
the
occasion.
It
was
surely
one
of
the
grandest
launches
in
the
recent
months.
Crazy
Star
Ravichandran
sounded
the
clap
board
for
the
first
shot,
whereas
Rocking
Star
Yash
switched
on
the
camera.
Apart
from
Ravichandran
and
Yash,
DGP
Om
Prakash,
MLA
RV
Devaraj,
Power
Star
Puneeth
Rajkumar,
Yogaraj
Bhat,
Vinay
Rajkumar
were
present.
Crowd
started
to
gather
near
the
temple
early
in
the
morning.
Organizers
had
a
tough
time
in
controlling
hundreds
of
fans,
who
thronged
to
the
temple
to
have
a
glimpse
of
their
favorite
stars.
Speaking
at
the
press
meet
after
the
muhurtha,
Suri
said
that
the
story
happens
in
the
background
of
rowdism
but
there
will
be
no
shades
of
Kaddipudi,
which
was
also
based
on
a
rowdy's
life.
He
also
stated
that
he
put
Kenda
Sampige's
sequel,
Kaage
Bangara
on
the
backburner
to
start
Tagaru
as
he
loved
the
basic
plot
of
the
film.
The
team
is
planning
to
launch
the
theatrical
trailer
on
September
23
and
work
for
trailer
has
already
started.
Shivanna,
who
was
also
very
impressed
with
the
script,
said
that
he
adjusted
his
dates
so
that
he
could
work
on
Tagaru
ahead
of
his
other
commitments.
Dhananjaya
and
Manvitha
Harish
were
ecstatic
about
being
a
part
of
Shivanna
and
Suri's
film.
Shooting
will
commence
in
September.
KP
Srikanth
is
producing
the
movie
along
with
Nagendra
and
Purushotham
under
Venus
Entertainments.
Mahendra
Simha
is
the
cinematographer
and
Charan
Raj
is
the
music
director.
