Upendra Is My Godfather: Sadhu Kokila

The comedian, director, singer and music director Sadhu Kokila (Sahaya Sheelan Shadrach) was the guest of honour of last episode on the talk show 'Weekend With Ramesh'. The comedy actor who has always brought smiles on audiences faces, shared his painful life experiences on the show with the host, Ramesh Aravind.

Sadhu Kokila is a fantabulous music director who quit studies at the age of 13 to pursue music. He firstly joined as a cleaner of a music shop owned by singer Kasturi Shankar.

After many of struggle, Sadhu Kokila was introduced as a music director through Upendra's Shh! The horror film starred Kumar Govind & Kashinath in the lead role. "Shh! gave me a huge break and Upendra is my Godfather", said Sadhu Kokila, while speaking about his journey in Sandalwood.

Sadhu Kokila's wife Saleena and they have two sons Suraag & Srujan. He has composed music for numerous Kannada movies, and his contribution to KFI is fairly large

Presently, Sadhu Kokila is waiting for the release of his next directorial venture 'Bhale Jodi' starring Sumanth Shailendra & Shanvi Srivastava and it is releasing on Feb 19th.
