Veteran Actress Leelavathi Hospitalized!

A sad news to all our readers! The veteran actress and mother of actor Vinod Raj, Leelavathi has been admitted in MS Ramaiah hospital.

The closest sources say that, early in the morning today, the actress tripped and fell down at her residence. She had taken a pain killer, but the pain increased gradually and later she was rushed to MS Ramaiah hospital by her son Vinod Raj.

The actress has acted in more than 600 movies and she has acted with 'Varata' Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, M. G. Ramachandran, N. T. Rama Rao, Sivaji Ganeshan, Gemini Ganesan, Shankar Nag, Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, V Ravichandran, Sudeep and various popular artists.

In her 50 years of journey in KFI, Leelavathi has been faciliated with many awards like the Rashtrapati Award, Karnataka State Film Awards, Filmfare Awards South, Rajkumar Award Honorary Doctorate.

Earlier in Oct 2011, Leelavathi was hospitalized owing to severe heart disease. An operation was done, and she recovered from it.
