Watch Out For This Week's Kannada Releases

A few years ago, the maximum number of Kannada movies releasing in a month would add upto just eight, but now we have eight Kannada movies releasing on same day, targeting Ganesha Festival weekend.

Let's see which are those eight movies releasing this week and what are the release plans of these movies. Neer Dose is the only movie amongst the eight releases, which has decent buzz.

Neer Dose, which is directed by Vijay Prasad and has Jaggesh playing the lead role. Trailer of movie has been well-received for its witty dialogues and hard-hitting content. Thoogudeepa Productions is releasing the movie in over 120 theaters.

Bablusha is the movie presented by veteran maker CV Shivashankar. Venkat Bharadwaj has directed the movie. The film recreates the story, which happened 550 years ago. It is releasing in couple of centres in Karnataka and USA simultaneously.

Avadhi is a thriller movie which is directed and produced by debutant Saikiran. Ranjith and Archana are playing the lead roles. A play of God is the tagline and it hints at the storyline of the movie. The film is releasing in over 30 theaters throughout the state.

Selfie is the film, which was made by software professionals during their weekends. Phani has directed the horror flick apart from working as the DOP and editing the film. Naveen has written the story and produced it. Mysore Talkies is releasing the movie in multiplexes.

Kempammana Court Case is directed by veteran actor Yedakallu Gudda fame Chandrashekar. Sundar Raj has written the story and produced the flick. The movie is based on saying "Justice delayed is justice denied". Jayanna Films is releasing the flick in a few theaters this week.

Prema Geema Jaane Do is directed by Chetan Kumar and produced by Horizon Movies. Trailer of the film was appreciated for its fantastic visuals and the lovely music composed by Poorna Chandra Tejaswi. Navarasan is releasing the movie in a couple of centers this week.

Sikkapatte Istapatte completed shoot a few years ago, but was in the cans all these years. All of a sudden, the team is releasing movie this week without much publicity. Tamil actress Namitha and Kiran Rathod have played important roles.
