Here’s The Latest Update About Sairat Remake Manasu Mallige

Director S Narayan had announced on January 1 that Manasu Mallige will be the title of his next film, which is the official remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat.

We have got more details about the film now. For reasons better known to the team, details of hero were kept under wraps so far. Now, details of the leading man have been revealed by the team.

Nishanth will be making his acting debut with this film. Nishanth is the son of yesteryear actor Sathyaprakash, who was known for his negative roles in movies like Police Story. Rinku Rajguru is the heroine of the film.

Interestingly, S Narayan got to know about Nishanth's filmy connection only after they started working together. Nishanth approached and participated in the auditions like a typical newcomer.

The team completed the shooting within 38 days. The film has been shot in various locations across 12 districts of Karnataka. S Narayan and his team is currently busy with the post-production work.

Rockline Venkatesh and Akash Chawla have bankrolled the film. Zee Studios, who produced the original, is co-producing the Kannada version along with Rockline Entertainment. This will be first outing for Zee Studios in Sandalwood.

Manohar Joshi is the director of cinematography. Srikanth is the editor. Interestingly S Narayan has gathered the technical team by picking young and talented technicians.

Even though the team has not made any formal announcement regarding the music directors, we hear that Ajay-Atul who provided music for the original, have been retained for Kannada version as well.
