College Kumar Shooting Completes; Moves Into Post-production

Directed by Alemaari Santhu, College Kumar is a youth-oriented film. The film had kick-started its shooting schedule on May 1, after Kichcha Sudeep gave a head start to the movie on that day. Now, after 50 days, the shooting for the movie has successfully been completed.

The movie has been shot in and around Bengaluru in just one schedule. Now that the filming is over, the film has reached the post-production stage. The movie stars Vicky of Kendasampige fame, who plays the male lead in the movie and Samyuktha Hegde of Kirik Party fame as the female lead.

By the way, College Kumar is the life story of a college going student, which involves the sentimental story of a middle-class family. According to the director, the story not only is about the exploits of the male lead as a college going student, but also the difficulties of being from a middle class family.

Along with Vicky and Samyuktha, Ravishankar and Shruthi will be playing prominent roles in the movie. Remember we had informed you about Ravishankar's change of role in this movie? Yes, he will be seen in a completely different look, which he has never portrayed before. So, look out for him as he might turn out to be a big surprise.

Also, veteran Sadhu Kokila makes his appearance in the movie and gives us the much required comic relief. The film is produced by L. Padmanabh, who had recently produced John Jani Janardhan. The music for the film has been composed by magical composer, Arjun Janya.
