Maasthi Gudi has been in news since the last few months. The team released the music of the film last month, and songs composed by Sadhu Kokila have been declared hit with Chippinolagade song being the pick of the lot.
Vijay and his team had to complete few days of shoot earlier this year, despite the mental trauma of having lost their two good friends and legal hassles. The team completed the shoot in January and completed post-production work recently.
Now Vijay and producer Sundar P Gowda have their eyes set on theatrical release. They are confident about the film and are not leaving no stones unturned in giving the film a grand release which they feel as a tribute to Anil and Raghav.
As a first step towards the release, distribution rights of the film have been sold for whopping price. Jack Manju of Mysore Talkies has bagged the distribution rights of the film for Karnataka.
Manju quotes Duniya Vijay and Nagshekar's style of making as the reasons for shelling out big bucks to acquire the rights of the much awaited flick. He intends to release the film in over 250 screens in May.
Vijay and Sundar Gowda had promised to be the pillar of support to the families of Anil and Raghav. Vijay has also vowed to provide the necessary financial support to their families.
Amulya and Krithi Kharbanda have played the female leads and this will be Amulya's last film before marriage. Sathya Hegde is the DOP. Joni Harsha is the editor. Ravivarma is the action director.
