Prem Starts Shooting For The Villain With Puneeth Rajkumar As Special Guest On Sets!

Finally, director Prem has started shooting for his much-awaited film The Villain. In a surprise move, Power Star Puneeth visited the sets yesterday to wish the team. Puneeth spent time on sets for some time and interacted with Sudeep, Srikanth and Prem.

This is how it all started...

Initially, Prem wanted to make a film titled Kali, that was of a different genre with a budget more than 100 Crores, but the project was shelved for unknown reasons.

After that Prem announced Kali was put on backburner and he will start a different film, The Villain, with the same cast and crew. Both the industry insiders and fans were not ready to believe this.

The team had a photo shoot by renowned photographer Mahen Simha to capture the different looks of Shivanna and Sudeep. Prem and his team has worked almost for two months on the looks of the heroes.

Again, after photo shoot was completed in February, Prem took almost a month in finalizing the logo and poster designs. As per the team, final design was okayed on Saturday morning and was released later in the evening.

Once the posters were released online, fans of Shivanna and Sudeep went berserk with the responses, as they loved the looks of their heroes. Within no time, The Villain first look was the trending topic on Twitter nationwide.

Kichcha Sudeep confirmed commence of shoot through his series of tweets. He posted - "Thanks to each one who participated at th 1stlook launch event. Very sweet n very loving. N its awesome to see many n many wth th hairstyle."

As per the official announcement, Sudeep and Telugu Actor Srikanth are the major names who will be part of the first schedule in Bangalore, which is planned for twenty days.

The team will move to London for the second schedule where Shivanna will join the team and this schedule is planned for almost a month. The makers have planned to shoot few important sequences and songs in this schedule.
