Raaga, Part 2 & Engineers To Hit The Screens Today (Apr 21)

With the previous week's big releases doing extremely good, we have three Kannada films releasing today. Out of the three releases, there is only one notable release. All the three releases have managed to get only very few screens.

The three Kannada movies hitting the screens today are Raaga, Part 2 and Engineers.

Raaga is the only notable film releasing today. Thanks to the fantastic trailer and songs, film has generated enough buzz among audience. This factor should help the film in getting decent openings in A centers where mostly film has released.

Jayanna Films has released the film throughout the state. The film has been released in around 50 theaters including multiplexes around the state. The makers would be banking upon the good WOM for increase in the shows at multiplexes.

Part 2 is the second film releasing today. Only a poster of the film is to be seen and no trailer/teasers were publicized. It seems that film has been made on the lines of surprise hit, 6-5=2.

Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy Productions have released the film in around 40 theaters throughout the state. The film has been mostly released in B centers where there will be good reception for this genre.

Engineers - By Common Man, is the third film hitting screens today. Vinay has taken care of scripting and direction, the film is being released in couple of multiplexes throughout the state.

Last week's big release Chakravarthy is doing decently at box- office and Raajakumara which is in its fifth week of theatrical run, is inching towards being one of the biggest hits of Appu and Sandalwood. Good luck to the films...
