In an interesting development, Hombale Films, which is basking in the stupendous success of Raajakumara, has bagged the worldwide theatrical rights of Suni's Operation Alamelamma, starring debutant Rishi and Shraddha Srinath.
Hombale Films was just into film production and has produced big-budget films like Ninnindale, Masterpiece and Raajakumara. With this film, the makers are planning to venture into the film distribution department. Their next production - KGF's shooting is underway.
Executive producer of Hombale Films Karthik Gowda made an announcement on his social media account: " We pick up worldwide theatrical rights for #OperationAlmelamma. You will enjoy this fun ride very soon. @SimpleSuni @ShraddhaSrinath #RiShi".
The film has managed to create a good buzz because of well-received trailers, teasers and songs. With Vijay Kirangaduru of Hombale Films bagging the theatrical rights, the film's publicity will speed up and it will also have more reach worldwide.
Rishi will be making his acting debut with this film. He is the brother of the popular RJ/Artist Nethra. This will be the third release for Shraddha Srinath, who is currently busy with her Telugu and Tamil industries' commitments.
Amrej Suryavanshi has bankrolled the project under his banner Starfab, wherein director Suni has joined Amrej as a Co-producer. Suni has formed the new banner - Suni Cinemas - for this film. He had co-produced few films in the past under the banner Suvin Cinemas.
The film's music is composed by Judah Sandy, which will be released this month. Two singles released till now have been received well and have brought a good acclaim for the composer Judah Sandy and lyricists. Also, the makers are contemplating to have a grand music launch.
