One of the most anticipated celluloid painting of not just the Sandalwood industry, but of the south cinema, KGF, is all set to storm the theatres in the month of December after a long delayed release. In what can be categorized as a breather and a dose of anticipatory pill to Rocking Star Yash fans and the common audiences, the theatrical trailer of the movie in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam have been released today 2:30PM.
The teaser of the movie had already created ripples few months ago and the background score along with Yash’s makeover won immense accolades.
A grand trailer launch was arranged with a bike rally and dignitaries bracing the event. Rebel Star Ambarish was the chief guest of the trailer launch while Sandalwood King Shivarajkumar sent his video bite as wishes to the entire team.
The 2 Minute 44 Seconds trailer cut showcases technical performance, strong storyline, terrific performances and some impeccable writing. The movie appears to be set in the backdrop of 1978 while the initial proceeding of the birth of the protagonist happening in 1951.
Yash elopes to the erstwhile Bombay in 1951 and would form to be a tough young man in 1978. The plot of the movie might focus on slavery and domination of certain cadre of people against the poor and downtrodden. The protagonist will ascertain the scene, understand the proceedings and then would stand against the evil to protect the good.
Though the storyline seems very much evident by the look of the trailer, the technical part of the movie is sure to steal the show once KGF releases and would be the talk of the town.
Be it the cinematography or the editing, both stand out in the theatrical trailer while Prashant Neel’s style of dialogues or execution leaves a great mark. Yash, be it his fierce look, body language or the makeover, is already a winner by all yardstick.
KGF has bright chances to end up as the first ever 100-Cr grosser of Kannada Film Industry and could also assist in the market expansion of the industry.
For now, Kannada and Malayalam trailers were unveiled in the social media where Malayalam trailer had garnered over 10K Likes and Kannada trailer scoring over 41K Likes in a span of 31 Minutes. It is quite a huge record for any Kannada trailer.
The view count of both language trailers were stuck at 23K views due to huge rush of internet traffic.
After the super impressive trailer cut, all eyes will be fixed on December 21st for the movie release.
