A
few
days
ago,
the
noted
dubbing
artiste/singer
Chinmayi
claimed
that
the
veteran
poet
Vairamuthu
had
once
sexually
harassed
one
of
her
friends.
She
also
shared
a
few
messages
that
the
lady
had
sent
her
about
Vairamathu's
behaviour.
Post
this,
she
opened
up
about
her
own
experience
with
the
legend
and
claimed
that
he
had
once
threatened
to
ruin
her
career.
These
revelations
created
a
great
deal
of
buzz
in
the
industry
and
ruffled
a
few
feathers.
Now,
as
part
of
the
#MeToo
campaign,
actress
Sruthi
Hariharan
has
accused
the
noted
actor
Arjun
Sarja
of
misbehaving
with
her
during
the
shoot
of
Nibunan.
In
her
tweet,
she
claimed
that
he
touched
her
without
her
permission
and
claimed
that
that
his
intent
was
'anything
but
professional'
"During
the
rehearsal,
we
delivered
our
lines
and
Mr.
Arjun
hugs
me.
With
no
forewarning
or
permission,
he
runs
his
hands
intimately
up
and
down
my
back.
He
pulls
me
closer
with
my
body
taut
against
his
and
asks
the
director
if
we
could
use
this
idea
of
foreplay
in
the
scene.
I
was
aghast.
I
am
all
for
depicting
realism
in
cinema,
but
this
absolutely
wrong.
His
intent
seemed
anything
but
professional.
I
hated
that
he
did
it
and
angry
that
I
didn't
know
what
to
say
then(sic)," she
added.
Needless
to
say,
this
is
a
shocking
situation
and
it
will
be
worth
watching
whether
Arjun
reacts
to
these
allegations
or
not
