Kaatera Day 1 Box Office Collection: Kannada superstar Darshan's latest much-hyped action drama titled Kaatera, written and directed by Tharun Sudhir hit the screens worldwide on December 29. The movie opened to positive reviews upon its theatrical release.

Kaatera Premise

Kaatera (Darshan) is the blacksmith in Bheemanahalli. He has to tackle several challenges to help the farmers of his village as the feudal landlords Devaraya and Kaalegowda and their Land Reforms Act.

The movie stars Darshan as Kaatera, Aradhana Ram as Prabhavathi, Jagapathi Babu as Devaraya, Kumar Govind as Mahadevanna, Shruti as Kumari, Biradar as Chongla, Master Rohit as Puttaraju, Avinash as Shanubogha, Vinod Kumar Alva as Kaalegowda, and Ravi Chethan as Maara playing key characters in the movie.

Kaatera Crew

Written and directed by Tharun Sudhir, Kaatera was funded by Rockline Venkatesh under the Rockline Entertainments banner on a budget of Rs 45 Crore. Sudhakar S. Raj cranked the camera and K M Prakash worked as the film's editor. V Harikrishna composed the film's entire background score and music.
