Upendra starrer Kabzaa, which features legendary Kichcha Sudeep and Shiva Rajkumar in extended cameos is all set to hit the screens all over the world on March 17. The movie is a pan-India venture and will release in Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi over 4000 screens. Writer-director R Chandru helmed this star-studded film.
After the release of Kabzaa's theatrical trailer, the movie lovers of the Kannada film and the fans of the respective stars are happy about it. The trailer looked dark and striking, complying with the time period the film's story was set up in. The film's production values, scale, costumes, techncial aspects were lauded. Expectations on the film increased manifold after the powerful trailer was released.
Kabzaa Story
Kabzaa is a periodic crime drama featuring a gangster. According to the available information, the movie charts the journey of Arakeshwara, an air force soldier, who unwillingly enters the underworld business. He emerges to become the ruler of the underworld. Meanwhile, Arakeshwara is targeted by not only his rivals but also by a cop named Bhargav Bhakshi, who is hell-bent on bringing down Arakeshwara and his kingdom.
Kabzaa is made on a budget of Rs 120 Crore. On the opening day, the movie is expected to collect Rs 30 Crore gross from all languages in India. In the first week, the film is expected to do a business of about Rs 60 Crore to Rs 70 Crore. However, on the release day, despite several negative comments and mixed reviews from critics and fans, Kabzaa could make only Rs 26 Crore.
