Kabzaa Day 4 Box Office Collection: Upendra's Multistarrer Gangster Film Slows Down Due To Negative Reviews

Kannada superstar Upendra's latest high-otane periodic gangster film titled Kabzaa, was released all over the world on March 17. The movie, written and directed by R Chandru stars Shiva Rajkumar and Kiccha Sudeep in crucial characters along with Upendra. Upon its theatrical release amid heavy expectations, Kabzaa failed to deliver at the box office, getting mixed and negative reactions from the fans and critics.

Kabzaa is the story story set in the pre-independence era. It charts the journey and life of a air force pilot, Arakeshwara, who involuntarily enters the underworld. He emerges as the leader of the gangster world. The British government then commissions a strict cop to bring down Arakeshwara.

The story revolves around the time period of 1942 to 1986. The movie, which is majorly in black, white, grey, and a little bit of colour was ridiculed for many reasons. Fans of KGF movie called it a cheap copy and they drew comparisons between KGF-Michael-Kabzaa, terming that Kabzaa failed miserably than the rest.

Kabzaa fell flat at the box office upon its huge theatrical release on March 17 all over the world. Written and directed by R Chandru, Kabzaa was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Kabzaa stars Shriya Saran, Murali Sharma, Nawab Shah, John Kokken, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sudha, Kabir Duhan Singh, Dev Gill, Taaha Shah, Pramod Shetty, B Suresh, and Tanya Hope among others in crucial roles. The movie was made on a budget of Rs 120 Crore.

Kabzaa is co-produced by R Chandru, Alankar Pandian, and Anand Pandit under the Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises, and Invenio Origin banners. The movie's cinematogrpahy was handled by AJ Shetty and Mahesh S Reddy worked as the editor. KGF fame Ravi Basrur composed the entire film's music and score.
