Kannada Actor Nagabhushana Arrested After His Car Crashes Into A Couple, 1 Killed

In a shocking incident, Kannada actor Nagabhushana has been arrested by the cops on October 1. According to media reports Nagabhushana was arrested after he was involved in a fatal accident which killed a woman. The media reports suggested that the accident took place on Saturday at Vasantha Pura main road when Nagabhushana was heading towards Konanakunte from Uttarahalli.

According to a report published in India Today, the accident took place at arouns 9:45 pm on Saturday when the Tagaru Palya actor's car rammed into a couple who were apparently walking on a footpath. The reports further claimed that Nagabhushana's car crashed into an electric pole after hitting the couple.

Reportedly while Krishna, 58, is critical with injuries on legs, head and stomach and is undergoing a treatment, his wife Prerna, 48, succumbed to her injuries on her way to to the hospital. As per media reports, the couple was rushed to the hospital by Nagabhushana itself.

Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged for speeding and negligent driving with Kumaraswamy traffic police station in Bengaluru. While Nagabhushana has reportedly been arrested, the investigation in the matter is underway.

Talking about Nagabhushana will be seen in Umesh K. Krupa directorial Tagaru Palya which also features Sharath Lohitashwa, Rangayana Raghu and Tara in the key roles. The movie is set to hit the theatres on November 1 this year. Besides, he is also known for his performance in movies like Ikkat, Badava Rascal and Honeymoon. To note, he made his big debut with the 2018 release Sankashta Kara Ganapathi. However, he had won the Best Debutant Actor at SIIMA Award for his film Ikkat.
