Veteran
actor-director-producer,
who
is
also
a
social
activist
and
politician,
Prakash
Raj
expressed
severe
shock
and
was
reportedly
hurt,
following
Kannada
superstar
Kiccha
Sudeep's
political
stand.
The
latter
announced
his
support
to
the
present
Chief
Minister
of
Karnataka,
Basavaraj
Bommai,
and
the
Bharatiya
Janatha
Party
(BJP),
recently.
There
were
several
speculations
about
Sudeep's
direct
involvement
in
politics,
over
a
couple
of
months.
However,
the
Vikrant
Rona
actor
made
sure
that
he
wouldn't
directly
contest.
At
the
same
time,
he
extended
support
to
BJP.
Time
and
again,
Prakash
Raj
has
come
out
in
public
about
his
views
politically,
especially
about
the
BJP's
ideology.
He
has
criticized
Prime
Minister
Modi
on
several
occasions.
In
one
recent
such
incident,
where
the
Central
government
had
tried
to
impose
Hindi,
Prakash
Raj
said,
"Don't
try
to
break
Homes
Mr
Home
Minister..
We
DARE
YOU
#stopHindiImposition
we
love
our
diversity...we
love
our
Mother
tongue..
We
love
our
identities.."

Recently
when
Kichcha
Sudeep
spoke
in
support
of
the
BJP,
Prakash
Raj,
who
was
seemingly
disturbed
and
in
a
state
of
denial
said,
"I
strongly
believe
this
is
Fake
news
spread
by
the
desperate,
loosing
BJP
in
Karnataka.
@KicchaSudeep
is
far
more
sensible
Citizen
to
fall
prey
(sic)."
Meanwhile,
following
the
support
Kichcha
Sudeep
extended,
Basavaraj
Bommai
mentioned,
"We
will
win
with
a
clear
margin.
The
public
will
support
the
double-engine
government
in
the
state."
