Touted to be a comedy-drama, Raghavendra Stores starring Jaggesh, hit the screens amid decent buzz on April 28. The movie was met with a mixed response at the box office, upon its release.

Raghavendra Stores is written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram. The movie charts the journey of Hayavadana, played by Jaggesh, a 40-year-old diligent cook. He often cooks special delicacies and opens an outlet named Raghavendra Stores. It becomes widely popular and orders start to pour in. However, there is an unexpected event that occurs to him, changing his life forever.

In the undertone, the film dabbles with topics like late marriages, infertility, surrogacy, adoption, hunger, and the deeply rooted feelings of caste and politics. The movie although had a great platform and a story to tell, is overburdened by the same topics put together. There is no focus and connection to the characters in the film, which doesn't make it a compelling watch.

Shwetha Srivatsav, Achyuth Kumar, Dattana, Mithra, and Ravishankar Gowda among others played key roles in the movie.
