'Yash Called Me Up With An Offer & I Was Unavailable; Still, He Credited Amount..,' Says Actor Daniel Balaji

KGF actor Yash, who shot to international acclaim with just one film and its sequel is one of the most celebrated south-Indian actors. Yash, who carved a niche for himself in the Kannada film industry managed to attain star status with his hard work and in no time, with director Prashanth Neel's vision, became the top class actor. The duo successfully promoted KGF back when it was about to hit the screens all over south-India with conviction.

Their magic translated onscreen by making KGF 1 and 2 one of the epic movies ever made in the Kannada, and south-Indian film industries. KGF is not only the number one grosser of the entire Kannada industry but also the south-Indian highest grosser, until recently Rajamouli-Ram Charan-Jr NTR's RRR took over, post re-release.

Meanwhile, Tamil actor Daniel Balaji AKA TC Balaji proved his mettle as a performer by playing antagonist, and character roles in several Tamil and Malayalam films. He became popular through films like Kaakha Kaakha, Polladhavan, and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu among others.

Daniel Balaji is also a writer and worked on several films. Recently, he spoke to a media channel about his professional and personal life where he made some interesting comments on Kannada star Yash.

He said, "I was once called up by Yash. He offered me a role in a movie in which he was going to act. I was then busy with the construction work of a temple and told him that I will not be available for another 20 days. He wished me luck and hang up." He also shared, "I received an amount credited to my account from Yash. When I enquired, he said it was his donation for the temple I am building."

Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that both Yash and Daniel Balaji have earlier worked together on a movie titled 'Kiraathaka' in the year 2011.
