This development has dealt a significant blow to Darshan, as it reportedly includes new evidence that strengthens the case against him.

The second charge sheet comprises testimony from more than 20 witnesses, multiple forensic reports, and other crucial information. Among the evidence are two photos retrieved from the mobile phone of an eyewitness, Puneeth. Initially deleted out of fear, the images have now been recovered by the police and included in the charge sheet. As per NewsFirst, the photos depict Darshan dressed in a blue T-shirt and black jeans, standing with others at the shed where the alleged incident took place.

High Court Decision Looms As Darshan's Legal Troubles Deepen

The submission of this additional charge sheet is likely to escalate challenges for all accused parties, including Darshan. The High Court is also set to make a critical decision regarding the actor's bail today. The bail petition is under review by a single bench headed by Justice Vishwajit Shetty.

Currently, Darshan is out on interim bail granted for six weeks due to medical reasons. Having spent 131 days in custody, his bail period is nearing its halfway point. The actor is reportedly undergoing treatment for severe back pain at BGS Apollo Hospital in Bengaluru, although surgery has not been performed. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the police are preparing to approach the Supreme Court to press for further action.

Despite his legal woes, Darshan's fans remain fiercely loyal. Known for their elaborate celebrations of his movie releases, including milk abhishekas on massive cutouts, they are now reportedly planning to build a temple in his honor, demonstrating their unwavering devotion.
