Directed by Dr. Suri and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, the story of 'Bagheera' (2024) has been penned by Prashanth Neel, known for helming blockbusters film franchises like 'KGF' and 'Salaar'.

Amid high buzz, the Kannada vigilante-thriller had its grand launch in cinemas on the auspicious of Diwali (October 31), clashing with other big South films like 'Amaran', 'Lucky Bhaskhar', and 'Bloody Beggar' among others.

While the official OTT streaming updates are yet to be announced, it is being said that the digital rights of 'Bagheera' have been acquired by Netflix, as per a tweet shared by Streaming Updates.

The film is likely to maintain a 30-45 day gap between its theatrical release and OTT premiere. Bagheera is expected to have its OTT premiere on Netflix by the end of this year or next year in January. However, there is no official confirmation yet.

Even though the film opened to mixed reviews from the fans and critics alike, 'Bagheera' had a solid start in Kannada cinemas. According to Sacnilk, the film opened to a box office collection of Rs 2.8 cr (Kannada - 2.3 cr ; Telugu - 0.5 cr).

Given the buzz, the film is likely to earn between Rs 2.5 - 3 cr today (day 2, Friday) at the box office.
